The Golden Light Meditation

Sit up straight, and relax into comfortable position

Breath deeply through your nose – Out through the mouth

Scan your body, relaxing any tensions

Breath deeply through nose - Out through mouth - Observe your breath

Let go of any judgment, criticisms, negative thoughts of the day

Give yourself permission to be here and now. Permission to be just at one

Several more deep breaths through nose, out mouth. Don't force it. Follow your natural rhythm.

Feel yourself relaxing. Leaving your troubles behind you.

Now, as you inhale, imagine a golden light filling your body completely

As you exhale, all toxins, stagnant energy leaves your body

Continue to inhale and exhale through your nose

As you inhale bring all the energy of the universe into your body.

The sun moon and stars

Oceans and all that is nature, all that is beauty

As you exhale, expel all negativity (Repeat a few times)

As you inhale continue imagine drawing in the deepest state of peace and bliss

As you exhale – radiate peace to all beings (Repeat a few times)

Inhale - peace

Exhale - send out peace

Now direct your awareness to your spine

Visualise your spine as fine thread of golden light – no thicker than a hair, extending from the base of spine, to the top of your head

Hold this image with your natural breathing

Now as you breath in, the thread expands, getting wider, to thickness of your little finger

As you keep breathing, expand it further to the thickness of your thumb

Now the light expands into pillar of golden light, through your body, from you're the top of your head down to the base of your spine.

Gradually getting wider, until see yourself seeded within it

The column is changing shape, growing rounder into an egg of golden light, expanding until it totally surrounds you

You are shimmering inside this golden egg of protection, totally energised, light, buoyant - Hold this image

Now I'd like you to expand energy even further, and this time, invite your spirit friends to come close

Take time to observe them, feel them. Sense the energy – what does it feel like? Enjoy this union, this blending of energies.

Ask your spirit friend/s if they have anything they would like to convey. Don't be afraid that it makes sense. Forget your conscious mind.

Stay in this power for as long as you feel comfortable.

Now, thank your guides +/or loved ones, say goodbye, and slowly come back.

As you breathe in, draw in your golden light, back to a column of light

Back to a pillar

Now to the thickness of your thumb

Now the thickness of your little finger

Back to a golden thread

Now the thread withdraws into one bright point at your third eye. The entire bubble, concentrated between your eyebrows

Feel it sinking down, through your body,

From your head, down through your throat, chest, till reaches your lower abdomen, like the sun sinking below the horizon - Sinking into an ocean of stillness

Now allow the image to evaporate and return to your natural breathing

Take your time, and when you are ready, come back to full consciousness.
